On November 7, 2021, the first annual meeting of the Health Communication Professional Committee of the China Journalism and History Societyand the 4th "International Symposium on Medical Care, Humanities and Media: 'Healthy China' and Health Communication" (MHM2021) was held in Beijing. The paper " Health false information: Conceptual discrimination and Evolutionary path" written by Chen Xin, student majored in radio and television , and Dai Wenhui, network and new media, was selected into the poster group of the conference.
The paper was repeatedly revised and polished under the guidance of Ma Xu, teacher in the Department of Journalism and Communication. The paper combed and clarified the false health information and related concepts, and summarized the evolution path of the false information combined with the real and specific "information epidemic" cases. It is reported that the international conference had received more than 260 contributions. After evaluation of experts, more than 60 papers were selected, which will be chosen into the "important international conference papers", and be published on the China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI).
The conference is organized by the School of Journalism and Communication of Peking University online. It attracted scholars from 47 universities and research institutions domestic and abroad, including Johns Hopkins University, London University of Political and Economics, Tsinghua University, Nanjing University and so on. Ma Xu, teacher from our school, made a keynote speech on the topic of "Research of the construction of heterogeneous actor network for Tobacco Control Campaign in China" at this conference.
This meeting promoted the academic exchanges between teachers and students in our college, enhanced the international vision of our students, and marked the achievements of our education to a new level.
